Simona Pierotti

Simona, graduated in architecture, along his path, decides to transfer all the creativity of her profession in weaving. 

 

Today Simona is a weaver, an artisan. She carries on a tradition long decades, weaving by hand one, the tradition of cutting and production of clothes and furnishings totally hand-made.

 

A choice that led her to create a personal dimension in which to transfer all her education and, at the same time, maintain a deep connection with the environment and the traditions in which she was born.

Casa Colleoni, is one of the oldest pastures of Alta Versilia, that Simona inherited from the family.
Here time seems to have stopped: there are objects and utensils of another era, today exposed in a part of the structure used as a museum.

It is in this historic place that the project was born, and it is the same place from which Simona takes inspiration for her creations.

Pillowcases with traditional geometric textures revisited in a modern way. Customizable sizes and colors. Choice of yarn: cotton, linen, silk, hemp and wool. Closure with buttons and buttonholes, or laces.

Blankets with or without quilt pocket, with traditional geometric patterns revisited in a modern way. Customizable sizes and colors. Choice of yarn: cotton, linen, silk, hemp and wool.  Closure with buttons and buttonholes, or laces.

Footwarmer

Decorative stripes for footwarmers with traditional geometric textures revisited in a modern way. Customizable sizes and colors. Choice of yarn: cotton, linen, silk, hemp and wool. Closure with buttons and buttonholes, or laces.

Bedside covers with traditional geometric textures revisited in a modern way. Customizable sizes and colors. Choice of yarn: cotton, linen, silk, hemp and wool.

Bedside carpet made of recycled cotton webbing with modern geometric textures. Customizable sizes and colors depending on the recycled cotton used. The webbing come from fabrics recovered from tablecloths, sheets, shirts and shirts.

Lampshade for bedside lamps with traditional geometric textures revisited in a modern way. Customizable sizes and colors. Choice of yarn: cotton, linen, silk, hemp and wool.

Baby blankets

Bread basket in double layer (a structural one with frame to give support and a "take off and put on" for a more practical and fast washing) made with modern geometric textures. Dim.18x14xh12cm

Custom size and color tablecloths made in multiple stripes sewn together, as tradition (each strip can have a finished height of about 90cm, size due to the width of the processing frame)

Baskets for wash mitts

Baskets have a collector structure to keep the shape. Dim.18x14xh12cm; Wash mitts are in plain canvas with decorations of variable patterns at both ends, generally made of cotton or cotton/linen or linen.

Metamorfosi Carpets

Carpets made with recycled cotton webbing with modern geometric textures. Size and color are customizable according to the recycled cotton used. The webbing come from fabrics recovered from tablecloths, sheets, shirts and shirts. For the bathroom, also in terry cotton.

Gilet for woman: vest with or without double chest covered in cotton or lining, closure with snap buttons, but with decoration. Carefully selected plots of tradition. Italian sizes: 42-44-46, with the possibility of small specific adjustments depending on the size of the person. Yarns used: cotton, hemp, linen, wool

Gilet for man: vest with or without double chest covered in cotton or lining, closure with snap buttons, but with decoration. Carefully selected plots of tradition. Women’s jacket

Women’s jacket made with techniques of male tailoring: with or without double breasted, covered with cotton or lining. Carefully selected textures of tradition, used either for the entire jacket or in the creation of inlays designed as "diamonds embedded". Italian sizes 42-44-46 with the possibility of small specific adjustments depending on the size of the person.

Women’s dresses

Women’s dresses made with Carefully selected textures of tradition, used for the whole dress or in part combining fabrics chosen in harmony with the textures and quality of the materials of Casa Colleoni Collection.

Baby poncho

Baby poncho, Raf collection: small poncho in cotton and merino wool baby, easily wearable for the baby. It guarantees free movement, but continuous protection from the cold.

Metamorfosi Bag

The Bag comes from unused clothes, shirts, shirts and sheets that, transformed into ribbons, become fabrics. A real metamorphosis takes place, from something that is no longer used to a new accessory. The bag is available in various sizes and colors. You transform YOUR unused garment, but you are fond of it...so why not decide for a metamorphosis?
